Dita Von Teese Show and Outfits of the Week(s)

Hello, Dear Readers!

First, I'd like to thank the ever lovely Vintage Frills Blog for including me on the list on her
"Top 10 Vintage Blogs".

I am truly honored by everyone who takes even one second out of their day to look at my Blog. I originally started "Technicolorcutie", because I wanted to find like minded people to share ideas and images with. Nothing gives me more pleasure than reading all of your lovely comments. It's more than I could have ever asked for! Thank-you, all of you! You really make me so very happy.

I have officially joined Tumblr and Pinterest. Lets be friends!!!

The Fella and I are going to be at the Strip Strip Hooray Show this Friday, at the Sunset House of Blues. Are you going? If you see me, PLEASE come up and say "hi"! I am taking pictures for the blog and would love to include you.

Scarlett has battled a cold, AND a blocked tear duct. This has caused me to not update last week. As always, you can like my Facebook Page and follow me on Instagram (technicolorcutie) for daily TC updates.

Are you ready for almost two weeks worth of outfit posts?

I made this skirt off This Pattern

And then came the RED!

So, do we like the new hair color?

  1. Oh I like your new color. It's very cherry coke. That's one of the shades I've wanted to try but can never find a dye that can lift my hair to the right shade. I hope Scarlet feels better.

I love the floral skirt. Are you wearing a slip or camisole under your semi sheer blouse. I really want a sheer blouse but don't know how to wear it.

    1. Thank you! I am actually wearing a vintage white slip under (with a white bra). But, I do wear it with a white camisole. :)

  2. We love the new colour! It's much brighter over here than on Instagram (one of the pitfalls of viewing things like that on a tiny screen), but it is indeed fabulous! It suits you really well :)

  3. My hair is as dark as yours but I didn't think I could get it that red wihtout bleaching it. Is it a special red for dark hair? Both my girls had blocked tear ducts, it disappeared eventually. x

    1. Well, I hate to say it - but I did bleach it. I grew my roots out for about 2 months, and then bleached the black parts with 40 volume for 1 hour. I don't recommend this to the layman, as I am professional hairdresser and applied/processed it the right way. I used 4RR in Redken (20 volume), washed it out, dried it and then applied Pravana Red to really pump it up.

We massaged her tear duct, and believe it or not - applied a drop of breast milk! It TOTALLY worked! It was gone in less than a week and only had one night of eye glued shut. :) God Bless breast milk

    1. Thank you so much! She is teething now, so the runny nose is still here. Hopefully we are better 100% soon!!!

  6. Love these pictures, and your red hair really suits you! I've been wanting to go red, but I think I'll wait until my hair grows out a bit. Flipping fantastic on you, though!!
