On Saturday evening, the girls and I got together and ventured down the street from my salon to the grand opening of Paper Moon Vintage.
If you've been to Cicada Club, you may recognize Owner, Nicole Loretta, positioned in the entrance of the Oviatt Building with her Paper Moon Photo Booth!
Now, she brings you a gorgeous vintage boutique, right out of the 1930's, in my very own Los Feliz Village!
Right now, Nicole's inventory is predominantly 1920's - 1930's with a little 40's here and there. She said she may be bringing in a few 50's items for us mid-century girls.

With Cary Farnsworth! The super sweet man who provides equally sweet ice-cream treats! Having an event? C.K. Farthworth Soda Fountain is available for all of your nostalgic soda fountain needs!
Look at these little cuties! Dressed for the occasion!
The amazing band!
On the other side of the patio from Paper Moon is Vintage Vortex! VV is a "vintage mall" with more than a dozen different vintage vendors. Here I am with my friend, Michi who runs the store.

After all that socializing we had built up an appetite! We were off to one of my favorite Los Feliz eateries, Fred 62. This amazing mid-century diner is open 24 hours a day! It has a counter if you're in a hurry or a party of one. Love this place! I have deemed it the "punk rock Denny's"!
I feel about Los Feliz how New Yorkers feel towards Manhattan. It's been my home for 8 years. I'm so happy it's drawing amazing vintage shops and independent small business!
We couldn't help ourselves and stopped at another one of my favorite vintage shops, Squaresville.
What are the favorite shops you frequent?
