New Year, New YOU!

If you follow me on Instagram you saw that right before the New Year I announced a new weekly blog post subject!
Many New Year's resolutions usually revolve around changing the outlook on one's health. I am very pleased to bring a fitness and wellness blog post series to Technicolor Cutie! I think together we can help each other stay on track and get to a higher level of physical and mental awareness!
For this week I challenge you to really think about how you see yourself a year from now. If you'd like to trim up, change your relationship with food/alcohol or perhaps something easy as drinking more water everyday, take a moment and jot it down!
I can't wait to start this journey with you. Viva is about three months away, but if you aren't attending perhaps there is another important event that you can aim to look and feel better for!

What changes will you make this year?


  1. what the heck is that lady doing with that swedish beauty developer around her waist hooked behind the door?
    I am sadly not going to Viva, but am on board with getting fit. I tried to start the "Insanity" program yesterday morning and the warm up was making me feel exhausted, so that isn't a good sign of where my fitness level is at. I don't have a particular event or time I would like to see results by (which is probably bad), but I would like to be able to keep up with my children at the park and playing this spring (and thereafter).

    1. I think my next post will be about this subject. I am a trained long distant athlete. Believe me, I wasn't born that way. You HAVE to train up levels. Insanity is a high intensive work out. Try it for half the time at half the pace. Even if you are just "sort of" doing it, you are working out. Please don't compare yourself to the people on the screen, they are trained professionals that have been working out for YEARS. Keep it up, and you're training up! Listen to your body when it feels tired, you're going too hard. I bet you in about a week, you'll be going longer than you did when you first started.

  2. Exciting new series! I know that for me, drinking more water (due to medical reasons, water has been the only beverage I've consumed 99% of the time for the past 11.5 years, but what I need to do is up my intake every day) in one small measure on the health and wellness front that I need to work on more in 2014.

  3. I had my second daughter 1 month ago and my goal is to do the 30 Day Shred with Jillian Michaels to lose these last 20 pounds. I waited 1 1/2 years after my first to do this and hated my size the whole time. Now I'm motivated because I know it works and in 2 weeks will start that.
